Which image is used if a HEIC file contains more than one?
The primary photo is used, which is the image normally shown by the iPhone Photos app. Other auxiliary images and depth data are not added as extra PDF pages.

Can I choose portrait or landscape pages?
Yes. A4 and Letter pages can use automatic, portrait, or landscape orientation. Automatic follows the shape of each photo.
Can I add margins around each HEIC photo?
Yes. Choose no margin, a small margin, or a large margin. Each photo is centred and fitted to the page without changing its proportions.
What does Enlarge smaller images do?
On A4 or Letter pages, this lets a smaller photo fill more of the available page. Leave it off to avoid enlarging an image beyond its original pixel dimensions.
Does the PDF keep HEIC EXIF and GPS metadata?
The PDF keeps the visible photo but does not copy HEIC EXIF, GPS, XMP, colour-profile metadata, depth data, or Live Photo video. Keep the original HEIC when you need that information.
Does converting HEIC to PDF change the original photo?
