Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using Crest Convert, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the service.

Description of service

Crest Convert provides file conversion tools. Some conversions are processed entirely in your browser, while others may require server-side processing. The service is provided on an "as is" basis.

Acceptable use

You agree not to use the service to:

• Upload or convert files that contain illegal content
• Infringe on the intellectual property rights of others
• Attempt to disrupt or overload the service
• Use automated tools to access the service at scale without permission
• Distribute malware or harmful files

Your files

You retain all rights to your files. We do not claim any ownership over content you upload or convert using our service. For browser-based conversions, your files never leave your device. For server-based conversions, files are processed temporarily and automatically deleted within 24 hours.

Disclaimer of warranties

The service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We make no warranty that the service will be uninterrupted, secure, error-free, or that the results obtained will be accurate or reliable.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Crest Convert and its operator shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses, arising out of or in connection with your use of or inability to use the service, regardless of the cause of action or the theory of liability, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

In no event shall our total aggregate liability exceed the amount you have paid us, if any, in the twelve months preceding the claim. If you have not paid us anything, our maximum liability shall be limited to one pound sterling.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Crest Convert and its operator, officers, directors, and employees from and against any and all claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or in connection with your use of the service, your violation of these terms, or your violation of any rights of a third party.

Service availability

We aim to keep the service available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time without notice.

Changes to terms

We reserve the right to update these terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
