Why convert ZCF to HEIC?
ZCF is the contact backup file created by the Truecaller app, holding names, phone numbers and email addresses. The image shows each contact under their name as a heading, with their phone number and email address listed beneath.
HEIC uses High Efficiency Image Coding, the format iPhones and iPads save photos in, so the image is compact while staying sharp.
Frequently Asked Questions
How do I convert ZCF to HEIC?
Drop your ZCF file above and press Convert. Our servers read the contacts from the backup, lay them out one by one and render the pages. The result is saved as a HEIC image, ready to download.
Which Truecaller details from the ZCF backup reach the HEIC?
For each contact the converter reads the name, phone number and email address. The number and email are shown under the contact's name, or under the number itself when a contact has no name.
Is a ZCF file that already holds vCard data converted to HEIC?
Yes. When the backup already contains vCard entries, they are read directly and laid out as contacts in the same way.
What happens when a ZCF file fills several HEIC pages?
Each page is rendered at 144 dpi and saved as its own HEIC image, named page-1, page-2 and so on, and they download together as one ZIP. A single page downloads as one HEIC file.
How compact is the HEIC made from a ZCF file?
HEIC uses High Efficiency Image Coding, which typically needs about half the space of a JPG of similar quality, so even detailed pages stay small.
Is my .zcf file kept private?
Your file is uploaded over an encrypted connection, converted on our servers and deleted automatically within 24 hours. We never read, share or keep your files, and no account is needed.
