Why convert QIF to GIF?
A QIF file is a Quicken Interchange Format export, a plain-text record of account transactions written by Quicken, banks and many personal finance programs. The GIF shows a “QIF document” heading followed by the file exactly as written, set in a monospaced font, with each transaction's date, amount, payee and memo lines in order.
