Why convert PPT to TXT?
PPT is the legacy Microsoft PowerPoint format used by older presentation software. Converting it to TXT creates plain text without fonts, images, page layout, or other visual formatting, ready for workflows that use the destination format.
TXT opens in basic text editors, code editors, note apps, terminals, and data-processing tools.

Frequently Asked Questions
What does PPT to TXT extract?
It extracts readable text from the slides, including titles, body text, labels, and other supported text stored in the presentation.
Does TXT keep slide formatting?
TXT is plain editable text, so fonts, colours, images, and slide positioning are removed. Use PPT to PDF when you need the visual slide layout.
Can I use this for old PowerPoint files?
Yes. PPT is the legacy PowerPoint format, and this converter prepares it for text extraction without needing Microsoft PowerPoint installed.
Can I convert PPTX to TXT too?
Yes. Use PPTX to TXT for modern PowerPoint files, or PPT to TXT for older presentations.
Can I convert several PPT files?
Yes. Add multiple presentations and convert them together. Each creates its own TXT file.
