Can I convert only certain PDF pages to JPG?
Yes. Leave the Pages field blank to convert the entire PDF, or enter individual pages and ranges such as 1-3, 5, 8. Selected pages are exported in their original order.
Are my PDF files uploaded?
No. PDF to JPG conversion runs locally in your browser. Your PDF is not uploaded to Crest Convert, stored on our servers, or added to an account.
Will converting PDF to JPG reduce quality?
JPG uses adjustable compression, so you can choose the balance between detail and file size. Use 100% and a high quality setting for print or detailed documents. For text-heavy pages or diagrams, use PDF to PNG instead.
How are multiple converted pages downloaded?
A single selected page downloads as one JPG. When you convert more than one page, the JPG files are packaged together in a ZIP download and named by page number.
Can I convert scanned PDFs and password-protected PDFs?
Yes. Scanned PDFs can be converted because each page is rendered as an image. If a PDF is password protected, Crest Convert will ask for the password and use it locally in your browser. Unknown passwords cannot be recovered or bypassed.
What is the PDF file size limit?
PDF files can currently be up to 50MB. Large PDFs with many high-resolution pages may also be limited by your device's available memory because conversion happens in the browser.
