Why convert P7M to TIFF?
A P7M file is a digitally signed envelope in the PKCS#7 format, widely used for signed PDFs, e-invoices and certified email. The image shows the content inside the signature envelope: the pages of a signed PDF, a signed email with its headers and body, or the full text of any other signed document.
TIFF is a long-established image format for archiving, scanning and print workflows, and it holds the rendered page at full resolution.
Frequently Asked Questions
How do I convert P7M to TIFF?
Drop your P7M file above and press Convert. Our servers open the signature envelope, extract the signed content and render it as pages. The result is saved as a TIFF image, ready to download.
What appears in the TIFF when a P7M file wraps a signed PDF?
The PDF inside the signature envelope is extracted and its own pages are rendered, so the TIFF shows the original document.
How does a P7M holding a signed email or XML invoice look as TIFF?
A signed email is laid out with its From, To, Subject and Date headers and body. Other text content, such as an XML e-invoice, is shown in full under a “Signed document” heading.
What happens when a P7M file fills several TIFF pages?
Each page is rendered at 144 dpi and saved as its own TIFF image, named page-1, page-2 and so on, and they download together as one ZIP. A single page downloads as one TIFF file.
Is the TIFF from a P7M file a single image?
Each rendered page is saved as its own standard TIFF image at full resolution. When there are several pages you receive one TIFF per page in a ZIP, numbered in order.
Is my .p7m file kept private?
Your file is uploaded over an encrypted connection, converted on our servers and deleted automatically within 24 hours. We never read, share or keep your files, and no account is needed.
