Areas outside the painted artwork are transparent by default, making the PNG useful for logos and graphics placed over other backgrounds. A white rectangle or other background drawn into the EPS remains part of the image. Choose White in Settings when you want a solid white canvas.
What resolution should I choose for EPS to PNG?
300 DPI is the default for fine lines, lettering, and detailed artwork. Choose 150 DPI for a smaller image. For example, a one-inch-wide EPS produces a 300-pixel-wide PNG at 300 DPI and full size, or 150 pixels at 150 DPI.
Can I make the PNG smaller without cropping the artwork?
Yes. Open Settings and choose an Output size percentage. The artwork keeps its proportions: 50% halves both the width and height, while retaining the complete EPS canvas.
Does converting EPS to PNG keep the image as a vector?
